A change from the usual action oriented Armored Core series.
This game puts an emphasis on programming AI for the robots that you put together and it puts a whole new spin on the game. Strategy in this game is surprisingly deep and all of the variables that go into building an AC now mean so much more because of how it affects how the AI plays
As a fan of the other AC titles, I really appreciate this title because of it's focus on the underused simulation elements of the old games. While you can play manually, it's actually more fun to sit down and get into the stat-balancing and number crunching involved in creating the perfect AI controlled AC
